So I was on the Southside during a long lunch break and wanted a grilled chicken sandwich that was reasonably priced....those are a lot harder to find than one would think so I decided to give Pita Pit a try! I had never been to one before so ordering was a little bit of a mystery but I found a menu item that looked like it would fit the bill and placed my order. They had signs up stating that the orders would take a little longer due to their COVID safety protocols (which I appreciate). When my turn came up I was a little confused because they asked me what I wanted and I had ordered off the menu but they were super patient and helped me make a very yummy grilled chicken pita with lots of warm tasty toppings. Only four stars because the pita was torn really bad before the pita maker started filling it and when I received it it was super hard to eat and the toppings were falling out everywhere. I don't know if that's a standard Pita Pit experience or not but I'm for sure willing to go back and test the theory!

As someone with a gluten sensitivity, I was very appreciative of the above and beyond service the staff went through when making my order. I don't see that very often, and I cannot thank you enough.

They were very rude the entire time. We asked if they would put our meat they were about to cook on a allergy plate and they complained allot and talked bad about me with their other colleagues and was overall just hateful and aggressive even though we didn’t say a word. When they were done with my wrap they tossed it onto the counter and said “it’s finally done” in a snarky tone ( because it takes more time to cook things on a allergy plate.
