Pitt Grill Restaurant in Alexandria

Absolutely the worst! I usually give restraunts 2nd chances, but I'm never going back here. It was a few months ago when I went last, but forgot to review. Waitress was rude and inattentive. Our food sat up on the counter for half an hour b4 I got it and it was cold. The only reason I'm not rating a 1 was bc we got a refund. Seriously! Never again! If I want good breakfast food I'll go to IHOP.

Decorated with local photo mural and such, this diamond in the rough for diner food is just what folks need when they are hungry.  Delicious food, friendly wait staff, and an abundant menu.  If you want Eggs Benedict get over there on Saturday or Sunday morning.  The only complaint about the food is the burgers are way to big for me.  I usually wind up cutting it in half and taking the other half home.  My wife and I take my grandson there sometimes for breakfast on Saturday, he loves it too.  The only reason I don't give it a 5 is the bathrooms need work, otherwise great!  I eaten a lot of different things on the menu; salads, burgers, breakfast items, lunch, and dinner.  They are all good.

A friend and I found Pitt Grill Restaurant early on a Sunday morning while on breakfast run. We intended to eat breakfast (since she was craving some hash browns, biscuits & gravy. . . You know, healthy stuff!) but wound up going with some po' boys. She had the catfish po' boy and I had the shrimp. Both of our sandwiches were delivered open face because there was no way to close them with the amount of meat stacked on! The catfish and shrimp were hot, fresh, and delicious! The only negative was they were out of almost every side item except hash browns. We really had our hearts set on some Cajun fries. The building is a little dated, but to me that was a plus because it looks and feels like a diner. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We managed to get our fill for less than $20.00 (plus a generous tip for the awesome service).
