Typically I have great experiences at EAT restaurants, but this visit was not the norm. Ordered essentially juice with a half shot of rum (rum punch), and a few appetizers which came out cold. The only reason 4/5 stars given as the staff made efforts to rectify the shortcomings.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a fun date night spot, and we didn't hesitate to come back to Pizza & Beer of Richmond (PBR)! We had gone this past summer, when they first opened, and we enjoyed the atmosphere, multitude of beer options, and pizza. We went a few days ago, and although the weather was a bit colder, the vibe and service were still as I remembered. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered the Cauliflower "Wings" with Asian sauce and the Fatty Smokes pizza. The Cauliflower "Wings" were okay. I requested ranch and blue cheese dressing, and I wasn't able to differentiate between the two until I had spooned some crumbles of blue cheese. The pizza was less to be desired. For a spot that boasts on beer and pizza, I was hoping the pizza was going to be as good as I had remembered. This past summer, the pizza was hot, gooey with cheese, and was full of flavor. Unfortunately, it appeared to have been sitting out for a bit too long this time around. It was barely warm, and in the words of my boyfriend, "Tasted like gas station pizza." I didn't get much taste of BBQ sauce or smoked brisket, but I'm glad the Fresno peppers were spicy! Although pizza is always tasty no matter when, where, or how, I was hoping for something better than what I can make at home. Overall, I would come back for the friendly and accommodating staff, beer options, and atmosphere. Will probably not order another pizza. Staff: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Food: 2/5
