PlumpJack Inn in Olympic Valley

Great spot and very accommodating to our doggies!

Was there doing work, but the staff was very pleasant to work with... I would recommend staying there if you have a vacation planned in the area

Possibly the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed. Drove 10 hours and knew we were arriving late called the hotel to see what was possible since our arrival would be 8:30pm. She told us nothing. My brother who was already at the hotel asked options knowing we hadn’t eaten all day and was told everything was closed. As it turned out had she bothered to mention he could have gotten us a pizza as they closed as 8.We arrived and were told the bar normally has snacks but closed early because it was slow. Again when we called or my brother asked we would have been happy to order what they had and been able to eat. However the bar was open and stayed open more than an hour after we arrived because of the ball game but wasn’t serving food due to a wedding. Why lie???Got to our room called the inn at squaw creek where we weren’t staying and I recommend you stay at if you can…. They told us if we wanted snacks we could go to the 7/11 or for food a place in Tahoe City that was open. Why didn’t our hotel provide this information?We had to leave our dog in the room so I wanted to turn on the tv to keep him company. It didn’t work. The desk clerk said “I’m not surprised “. Guess not as it didn’t work in my brother’s room either. Went to Tahoe City and ate came back to find the heating in our room didn’t work. We got no sleep as we were so cold all night our teeth were chattering.In the morning we met the morning desk clerk who got us a heater and had our heater fixed as well as the one in my elderly mothers that didn’t work either.
