This review is for my experience at Polly's Pies Restaurant & Bakery at 3464 Katella Ave, Los Alamitos, CA 90720 on Saturday March 13th at 9:40 AM... Good pancakes, cold & gamey tasting bacon, filthy outdoor patio floors with areas covered in bird poop and disgusting bathrooms... I came with my daughter & we were promptly seated. We sat in the outdoor patio area. My daughter liked her buttermilk pancakes; and I thought my banana pancakes were tasty and very sweet. The macadamia sprinkled nuts complimented the pancakes very well. We were disappointed with the bacon. It was cold and very gamey tasting. I would consider giving this place a higher rating if it weren't for the view we had while we were eating. We came in the morning & it is evident that it is not the management's priority to maintain this place clean. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting. The outdoor patio floors were so dirty that there was old bird poop throughout and trash left underneath some of the tables. The women's bathrooms including the sinks were also dirty. I spoke with the manager and let her know that we enjoyed our pancakes. And that I would consider returning if they made an effort to have an acceptable clean bathroom to use; and clean outdoor patio floors. As expected, the manager's reaction reflected the unkept restaurant. She got insulted and responded "ok" and she walked away from me.
