Kind of disappointed this visit. Order wasn't understood, missing a beverage, fries were not hot & husbands beef & sausage sandwich looked like it was "thrown together", & my Fish sandwich, was indeed sloppy. Should of had them re-do the order, but it took quite awhile to get it the first time & they were NOT that busy inside. 5 tables had customers, and that included us. Also he couldn't get any more ketchup for the cold fries, as the container was empty.Not a great visit there like previous visits there. Maybe we will try back another day, but not anytime soon. Never had an issue with any Portillos before until now. Guess we picked a bad Sunday to go.

Portillos New Lenox is the slowest restaurant. Last 3 trips it took 45 minutes or more to get cold hot dogs. Overpriced and poor service.

My wife (very very reluctantly) went to pick up lunch for my brother and nephew who were in town. My nephew wanted two hot dogs. My wife goes inside to avoid the absolutely mindless drive thru that's run by complete morons. At the counter, she is told by the worthless 22 year old "manager" that there is a wait for hot dogs. At Portillo's HOT DOGS! They're out of hot dogs. At 11:30 in the morning. On a Sunday. Hate this place. Hate that it's in new lenox. And I just can't believe that people wait in that dumbass drive thru for 30 minutes at a time for a beef sandwich. Horrible.
