Been here several times over the years when we stay in Astoria. Always good, but tonight rocked. Bartender Alek was a breath of fresh air with his ultra-positive attitude. Fun to simply be around someone who likes what he does, and is also good at it. Thanks to him for a nice evening out!

My husband and I visited Portway Tavern on our way through town. We were drawn into Portway because of the online reviews, and this place did not disappoint! Delicious food, incredibly friendly wait staff, and super relaxed vibe. The ravioli bites are so good! Anyone looking for a low-key spot for great food needs to check this place out.
