Pub 517 in Andover Township

4 people, $500. "Market value" for a simple serving of king crab legs, 2 dozen clams & a baked potato =$85. (we knew the prices when we ordered, so it wasn't the bill that made my review 2 stars, we ordered drinks, apps, add ons and dessert).The food was fine, our waitress Natalie, was amazing and VERY attentive. As we finished our meal it was close to closing time and we were one of 2 tables there. The bartender made it VERY clear she wanted us out, (she rushed us out, her car was already running and she turned the outside lights off on us as we walked outside, our friend is disabled and needed to use the ramp, in the dark) it made a very expensive, nice meal end on a poor note. When a restaurant is as empty as this one was on a Tuesday night, I can't imagine treating a guest this rudely. We will not be in any hurry to return. There are many other restaurants that are eager for business, especially in this current economy.

I liked the rustic atmosphere. However, if you're not a fan of hunting, you may not like the animal trophies on the walls.The service was good. I had the snow crab, which was dry and salty. Others in my group had lobster and king crab which was also good.Two of us also enjoyed steamed clams.

Great food and service. Excellent outdoor dining area with beautiful surroundings. I've been coming here almost every Sunday since about a year before Covid. I was happy to see that everything that I like about Pub 517 returned when they re-opened. They have done an excellent job of adapting to and implementing all safety protocols while maintaining the same quality, service, and atmosphere. They did some extensive work to expand their outdoor capacity. Indoor dining is more than adequately distanced and safe. Keep up the great work
