I went out tonight for gelato, which I was not able to attain, so please take this review of a whiskey bar with a grain of salt. I've been into Radiator Whiskey once or twice before, but it was always so crowded that I didn't stay. Tonight, it was crowded, but not unmanageably so. After inexplicably being carded by the kind hostess, I found a cozy corner of the bar and looked through the menu. I pretty much stopped looking when I got to "Smoked Maple Old Fashioned", and the cherry on top wasn't the actual cherry, but the fact that it's made with Jim Beam Rye, which is actually one of my favorite whiskeys, and what I would buy if I were making it myself. They apparently "smoke infuse" the whiskey for this cocktail, and it was...
