This is one of the best restaurants my family and i have ever been to. We came to Appomattox to visit some of its historical sites, and was recommended the Rail Yard Restaurant by our tour guide at the Civil War Museum. Everything from the salad to the main meal, all the way to the dessert was outstanding. The pecan pie was one of the best I've ever had (ask for it warmed with ice cream) The wait staff was kind and attentive and even the owner came to the table three times to make sure everything was great.
