this is an update to my previous review. It took someone from customer service 3 weeks to respond to the email complaint I sent them. They did credit my account with the money I was out, however they never even apologized for the way I had been treated on the previous phone calls! Today, I just spent another 45 min on the phone with them because they screwed up again! Honestly the only reason I am still shopping with them is because I had paid for a yearly delivery savings pass that doesn't expire for another 6 weeks, yet when I placed my order I was charged the delivery fee. I spoke to someone who said she would credit my account for the $10 & transfer me to another agent who would resolve the issue so I could use the pass until it expires but after 45 minutes on the phone all she could say was I've escalated this...

Just got back from Ralph's and I was buying cheese that they had a sign up for for $1.99 for up to five bags. I got the five bags but when I got to the register they charged me a much higher price. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she was very rude and frazzled then she asked somebody to go verify the price and he came back saying the price was $1.99 so she called the manager over and the manager was also frazzled and rude and made me feel like a Karen for even bringing up the fact that they marked it for the wrong price. She then went back to check and the sign they had up was an old sign that they forgot to take down but she made me feel like I was being rude by asking them to give me the price that they were advertising. Everyone at the store looked miserable to be working there. Doesn't make the shopping experience very pleasurable or make me want to go back!!!

This is a decently stocked Ralphs and the meat always looks good. I don't know that I've ever had problems at this Ralph's. The Starbucks folks are usually nice, if you ask for help the service is reasonable. But today in the meat department the guy who came out to help was rude and indifferent. Turns out he's the meat dept.manager, Dan, so no sense in asking for the manager. He has a problem with people of color which he doesn't try to hide. However, normally people in a management position will at least try to conceal their personal bias. Not so with Dan the meat manager. A person standing next to me who twice made it clear to Dan that I was next, just gave a look like i don't know what this guy's issue is. Dan asked the person twice if he had been helped. Not who's next? Not may I help you? When it was clear i was next I swear it was I like what do you want, which one? No greeting i don't have to have one, but Dan do Ralph's customers a solid, and just get over yourself or go into another line of work. Just because you can get away with being a jerk, doesn't mean you have to actually do it.
