Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. If you're looking for something different, this is this place. What a broad menu...and it doesn't matter what you order, it's fresh. Do not miss this hidden gem!

This is my go-to spot for sashimi with my mom. She lives nearby so we make a point to go every few weeks to get our sushi fix! The fish is always so fresh and delicious and we enjoy some of the cooked menu items too. All of the servers are super friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The happy hour is also a great deal for certain drinks and small bites!

Firstly, I'd like to thank Rattan Pan-Asian Bistro & Wine Bar, Chef David, general manager Betty, waiter Michael for having me for a dinner tasting. Here's my review! 1st course: $19 Snapper Ceviche Salad - Salads are lame, but this salad was bright, tasted very fresh and citrusy and the snapper was also fresh and delicate. 7/10 2nd course: $15 Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp - A classic dish that seems to taste better when you're in a nicer environment.  The shrimp were perfectly honeyed and fried to perfection. It was topped with some fish roe which added a nice crunch to each bite. (one of our favorites) 8/10 3rd course: $16 Seared King Salmon & Fig- I'm not a huge sashimi fan so having the salmon seared with all the added stuff (fig, apple, quinoa crispies, cilantro) made for a better tasting experience.  The salmon was gently seared and the Fuji apples added a nice sweetness to the dish. Each bite was literally a flavor bomb. 8/10 4th course: $26 Toro Tartare with Caviar - At first, I didn't know how to approach eating this. As I started to put the whole spoon in my mouth, I realized that the Toro and avocado slices were on top of a lotus root chip. If you share this plate, you only get one bite and that bite is WORTH it.  The tuna just melts in your mouth. 9/10 5th course: $15 Akaushi Short Ribs - Being Korean, I love short ribs and wow these impressed me.  First let's star...
