The only reason I'm awarding one star to the Red Barn Restaurant is because Google requires it in order to leave a review.If you are under the age of 70 don't expect to be acknowledged at this place. When I walked in the waitress said hello to me and saw me walk to my table. Then I sat for 15 minutes while I watched her take food and drink orders for at least three other tables. I finally got frustrated, got up from my table and politely asked her if I could order. Her response was "sure", then she turned and took drink orders for a party of six that had just sat down. THEN, she took someone else's food order, and went to get that above mentioned table's food order.Having worked in the service industry for a very long time, I am especially patient and understanding. But this was unacceptable and kind of just weird. This was the first time I've ever left a restaurant because I sat for too long before being waited on. I travel around the state for my job and like to eat at local joints that have good country style food. Well, I guess anyone other than the locals are SOL at the Red Barn.Check out Ed's right down the street. Service was awesome and the broccoli and cheese soup was the best ever.
