I ordered a cake from here for my friend's birthday - a cookies & cream cake with nutella frosting. I had high expectations because the cakes all looked so pretty and delicious! It was true - the cake delivered was definitely beautiful, but I felt the flavor fell a little flat. I was excited for this cake because I hadn't found other cake bakeries in Houston that could make a nutella and cookie and cream cake, which are my friend's (and my!) favorite flavors. They are both very distinct as well and really can add a lot to a cake. The cake we got from Red Dessert Dive honestly kind of tasted just like 1 flavor - and that flavor is SWEET. Amazing desserts and okay sandwiches. Had the seasonal cheesecake and they were delicious (brown butter pecan cheesecake) and also the pink champagne cupcake was also yummy. Sandwich on croissant was just okay. Great vibes for a coffee or some sweets!
