Good reindeer hotdog for cheap

Didn't expect to love the reindeer hotdog as much as I did! The cart owner was so nice and gave us tips on what to put on it. Must try when you are in anchorage!!

When in Anchorage, Alaska, you gotta try the reindeer meat right? Well I sure did! I honestly had no idea this really existed until I went to see a local reindeer deer farm. Fun fact: caribous and reindeers are the same animal except reindeers are domesticated while caribous live in the wild. Cool huh? I yelped reindeer sausages and found Red Umbrella reindeer. A lot of positive reviews steered me here to check one out. It's not 100% reindeer meat as it is mixed with beef and pork. I really like it and you can taste a bit of the "gamey" meat. Our server grilled our hot dog buns and we got to dress it up! The location is great and it's across the street from wild scoops! No chairs or tables, but there's a park behind the hot dog stand where there's plenty of places to sit.
