Rice to Meet You 煲来饱去 in Houston

Rice to Meet You exceeded all expectations! I have been once dining previously and got a clay rice bowl and a drink - both very good. But what stands out is their customer service. I recently use RTMY to make a large order for a corporate event. They were easy to coordinate with over the phone and were able to have 75+ individual containers of food boxed up, with sauce and utensils ready to go for our 10:30 am pickup. We got vegetarian fried rice, pork chop with rice, and crispy chicken with rice and all portions were very generous. The food was still hot when we passed it out to event attendees at 11 am and the drinks were still cold. Would recommend to anyone!

So many restaurants in Houston Chinatown where to go next? Simplicity yet solid food at a great price is all you need or crave sometimes, Rice to Meet You is the place you want to try! The menu isn't pages long and honestly this place is great if you want a huge meal or just want to snack on an appetizer or two. Crispy Pork with rice - comes with a fried egg and a couple pieces of bok choy. Great crisp, great tasting, great portion! Popcorn Chicken - comes hot and fresh to the table. Crispy, tasty, spiced great...no complaints. Beef brisket clay pot rice noodle - excellent tasting, piping hot. Fresh and made to order. Cantonese cured pork belly + spare ribs - great flavor, piping hot, love that sticky hard rice at the bottom! Rice to Meet you is definitely now on my Chinatown restaurant rotation!

I have had clay pot rice a bunch in China but never in America so I was curious to see how the execution would be here. There was an abundance of meat in my pot so definitely a great bang for the buck.
