If you are someone who thinks Chicago pizza is deep dish, move along. If you are someone who KNOWS Chicago pizza is south side thin crust tavern style, get yourself over to Rich's immediately. We ordered the Uncle Richie (sausage, pepperoni, and banana peppers) and also a plain cheese because I like to judge a new pizza place on crust/sauce/cheese only too. This pizza is literal perfection: crispy thin crust, the exact right amount of cheese that's carmelized and brown at the edges, and sauce that isn't too sweet.
