I have lived in the neighborhood for 10 years and this is my "go-to" Chinese restaurant. The family who owns it is lovely and the food is always fresh. I usually get take-out and they never disappoint. My favorite is sweet and sour chicken and the orange chicken.

Love this little restaurant! We discovered it during the pandemic last year and have never had a bad experience. Today we took some relatives from back east there and the servers accommodated 11 of us with ease: service was swift, no confusion, our orders were 100% accurate and came out fast even though it was during the height of the lunch rush, they jokes with us and when my wife accidentally left her purse they kept it safe until I could return to get it. The food is amazing and you won't find a better little family owned Chinese restaurant in ABQ.

I don't get to Rising Star Chinese Eatery as often as I would like to, because it is on the other side of town. However, the drive has always been worthwhile, because this is Chinese food that is truly made with both love and care. This is a small family owned place that clearly works hard to make their food both delectable and affordable. It is a soulful little place that leaves one with an unforgettable culinary experience.
