Riverside Hearth in Leesburg

We did the New Year's eve dinner this year. Simply awful. So much money for Holiday Inn quality food. Service was slow and food quality was so poor that we left before finishing the main course.

The continental breakfast you ignore at other hotels... Lansdowne charges for it.Nice views. Clean. Well lit.Food you wish you skipped. The waffles got the most negative reviews from the people in our party. Most everything was pretty much "old" or "stale" tasting.Not a lot of choices.Definitely recommend eating elsewhere.

Pretty unimpressed with my dining experience at this restaurant. Since the breakfast buffet came with our package, we received breakfast daily while staying at Landsdowne Resort. On the first day that we dined at Riverside Hearth ALL of the food was cold, despite being placed in chaffing dishes. Other than the omelette and waffle station that were made to order, EVERYTHING was cold. We had to inform our server of this major flaw and he had them turned on. At this point, it didn't matter to us, because we didn't want anymore cold food. Just makes me wonder what were the other people that ate before us were thinking about. Clearly their food was cold as well, why didn't someone say something? Why didn't the staff know that all the food was cold? Sigh! The second morning we dined at this restaurant and the food was barely warm. Not sure why nothing here is ever hot! Is this the norm? I bypassed that section and got my omelette and waffle made. Unfortunately, the friendly man that made them the day before wasn't making them. He was replaced by a woman who didn't seem too thrilled to be at work. She made me the driest omelette I've ever eaten. It was if she was trying to save the toppings for the omelettes for other guests. I only asked for three items, so I wasn't trying to take all of the toppings for myself. The other staff/servers were friendly and nice, but when your food is lackluster everything else is thrown out. We asked for separate checks and one of the serve...
