Some of the Jamaican food anywhere in an amazing ambiance with wonderful service. It's in the top 5 fine-dining Jamaican Restaurants in South Florida

Rocksteady Jamaican Bistro might not be my favorite restaurant in Florida but I rated it 5 stars because it is the best Jamaican food I have ever had. If it's Jamaican cuisine that you crave, you won't do better than Rocksteady. The atmosphere is wonderful with dark lighting and candle light and linen tablecloths on the tables. It is very obvious that the food is lovingly and carefully prepared and very flavorful. I had shrimp cooked in coconut milk with onions and red peppers and I could definitely taste the coconut and other flavors coming through. The fried green plantains we're amazingly light and fluffy and much better than ones I've had in Cuban restaurants. There was only one choice for dessert and that was a bread pudding made with rum but it was excellent and served with vanilla  ice cream. I do not know why they were not very busy because the food is excellent. This is not a cheap restaurant but a good one. This is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner by candlelight. If you want something different and  authentic where Caribbean flavors shine through then this is the place for you.
