Rosalie Italian Soul in Houston

This was our first time back since they re-opened, as previous visits the food is excellent. The portions are just the right size, not too large. There were three of us and we shared the meatballs and the calamari to start. Both were very good and I highly recommend them. The meatballs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was so good. The calamari was well seasoned and also cooked perfectly, the accompanying sauce was also very good. We then ordered a Caesar salad, which while good it wasn't our favorite. Next we ordered the Rigatoni and a mushroom pizza. The Rigatoni was some of the best pasta dish I've ever had. The pasta was cooked just right and the pizza was very delicious. I had overheard a bartender talking about how good it is so I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. The dessert ordered was an Italian chocolate pudding recommended by our waiter and it was also very good.The only issue we had and it was a slight issue was the service. I had the polenta with eggs. I love a good classic breakfast but my goodness, it had no flavor! Not a pinch of salt! I tend to undersalt my meals for a balanced diet, but this was horribly bland. Went to dinner at Rosalie Italian Soul with my wife and it was fantastic!! The restaurant is quaint and gorgeous, the food is creative and spectacular and the service from Alfred and the team was the best I have had in a long time!!I can’t wait for our next visit.
