Great ambiance, food, and cocktails. When you walk in you feel like you are in the Caribbean. We ordered two cocktails and shared the tacos and Cuban sandwich. We preferred the shrimp tacos and found the pork taco too sweet. The Cuban sandwich with the side jicama and cucumber salad was a big portion and delicious! The only qualm was service was a bit slow. We ordered drink and they came after our food arrived. We also were planning to go to Inside Passaway after dinner but did not realized we needed to put ourselves on the waitlist so when we finished our dinner about an hour after we arrived they said there was a 1hr wait to get into the bar. Wish we knew so we could have put ourselves on the waitlist before our meal.

Stumbled upon this spot while trying to find a hidden gem visiting from PDX. Turns out they are sort of the gate keepers. We were seated almost immediately upon entry. The hostess was nice and once we asked about "Inside Passage", we were told that it would be about 45 minutes to an hour wait. We obliged and got a drink here at Rumba, while we waited. I got the Rumba old fashioned, which was solid and the lady got the daiquiri de plata. I didn't try it but she said it was ok. The vibe here is mellow and cozy. The lady and I mentioned how it would be a nice spot to go for brunch. I'd come back to try their food since they do Cuban/Caribbean, which I enjoy very much. Until next time!

really really strange place. i think i see the appeal. very unique decor and play on word/movie type of drinks. but completely overrated. comes out in fancy mugs, etc. but the drinks are FULL OF ICE, and some where practically undrinkable. The food (just limited appetizers we ordered) were so basic. And the bill was insane.
