We happened to eat here while in Juneau, they'd been opened less than a week and the food and service was better and more professional than many better established businesses.  They still lacked a liquor license but we really never noticed we were so busy sharing foods and flavors.  My only wish is that I'd saved room for desert.  The hostess, our server and the owner were all equally welcoming and friendly.  We all fell in love with this restaurant.  BRAVO!

Came to saffron March 3rd and honestly it was lovely. To be completely honest I had come here years ago and wasn't a fan but man am I glad I gave it a second chance! She helped us out a lot when we couldn't decide what to order and her suggestions were great! Just to start, this Indian food isn't really like Indian food I've had...anywhere. But! That doesn't mean it's not good and is close enough that it still hits the spot. We ordered the Jhinga fry, 3 chutneys, naan, lamb kheema, and the lamb curry(I actually can't remember the last one 100%, it's been a while ‍) The jhinga was delicious and served over rice which let's be honest, I can never get enough rice. We ordered the mango, tomato, and roasted peanut and garlic chutneys. I was surprised that the tomato one ended up being quite sweet but all were delicious and the peanut one packed a punch! I will say the naan is nothing like any naan I've ever had in a sort of comical way- it's very thick and dense,...
