Great schwarma platter for a good price

I usually love Sahara, it is one of my favorite restaurants in the city but tonight my husband ordered take out from there and it was awful. I don't know if they are cutting costs or changing recipes but we can't even finish our dinner. Really hope this was a one time thing.

Sahara Mediterranean Grill Express is excellent. The wife and I popped in having no experience with the menu but were pleasantly suprised by the quality we encountered. I had the gyro, she had the shawarma, and we shared an appetizer of the hummus. Everything was tasty and the portions were sizable enough to leave us satisfied. The facilities were also thoroughly clean and it was clear the staff took pride in their work. Would have taken pictures but by the time I thought of it the food was gone.
