This U-M alum-founded establishment lets you build your own salad or grain bowls and gives you tons of options to do so, whether the base greens, extra vegetable toppings, or a focused selection of proteins. Be warned: the toppings add up. Fast. So, yes, my salad bowl ended up costing a fortune, but at least it was stuffed silly and quite filling. The overall result: a fresh, nourishing, natural-feeling bowl that felt so much better than, say, something fried, greasy, gut-busting, and cheap, as is all too common here in student-oriented downtown A2. Even amidst such an abundance of fast, inexpensive dining choices, this is a welcome addition to the mix.

I went to Salads Up today, getting a salad for my fiancé. I was greeted with a friendly smile, she took my order, asked how she can make the salad perfect for my fiancé. She took the time to present the salad in a gorgeously delicious fashion and set me up for success to surprise my fiancé with lunch.Amazing experience, delicious product, and 10/10 would recommend.
