Sal's Italian Ristorante in Boca Raton

I chose to come here to eat and ordered a Dr pepper, and a chicken franchise which came with a side salad. (There was only one other table in the restaurant for prime dinner time. I should have probably taken that as a sign) then when I took my first bite it was extremely chewy. So I said I would give it another shot and went to the other piece of chicken and it was the same thing. Hard and chewy. So I sat patiently and requested the waitress to please take it off the bill. She then came back and told me that the manager or whoever was charging me for my Dr pepper at $2.99 and the salad at whatever price I can't remember now. Are you kidding me? Learn service. I love the pizza here but today pick order wasn't good what so ever! I got the Monday large cheese pizza special. I also got the Mezzluna raviolis, a house salad, and 2 sides of ranch. Well at first I asked for extra topping for My salad and Chz as well. They charged me $7.50 extra so I'm eating a $15 salad!? That's crazy! So I told them to cancel the extra topping on the salad. I get to the restaurant and they canceled the whole order. Just very annoying, also $3 for gorgonzola Chz?! That's just nuts!

Great first impression. Good quality, good price, good service. I got the lunch special that has salad, slice and half Sammy and it was filling and well prepared. Toasted bread, lots of sausage in half sandwich. My two colleagues got meat lasagna and they both raved. All three of agree it was a good idea to return back here again soon. I may even be stopping in by myself.
