Recommend Wendy as a server! She was exceptional. Had the prime rib, which was really good. The mashed potatoes are amazing. These aspects of the dinner deserve 5 stars! Ordered a wedge salad and the lettuce was clearly old. Sent it back and got a slightly fresher cut of iceberg - but still not what I would consider quality. Would definitely go again, but i hope the kitchen staff and management see this review and improve on the produce quality and attention to detail (check your food before you serve it). My wife had a steak salad, and she really enjoyed it. The veggies in her salad were fine. So it must have just been old iceberg lettuce. If not for that, I'd give them 5 stars for a wonderful meal, service, and overall experience.

Their take-out service is just as good as their dine-in service—great experience with friendly staff. The food you get for take-out comes out just as good as it would if you were to dine in. We had the steak with baked potato, and mac and cheese was incredible! Their famous bread is fantastic as always. I do not come here often, but I’m glad to know that when my family and I have diner, we can expect a good time.

Saltgrass Steak House on the Katy Freeway is always good. Just wish the parking lot was larger.
