It's ok, at least for salsa nights it doesn't get crazy crowded, and the music is fine; they play salsa a little bachata and a few cumbias. The bottles of water are a little too much from my point of view ($4) , don't know about the food, haven't tried it yet, I'll update my review when the time comes. So far, I recommend this place if you want to practice in a friendly space, beginners are not afraid here and the intermediate they dance to the level of the other person, they are really nice in that aspect.
