This place is one of my High School Class mates of 1974 favorites and Michael was right. For a Seafood & Fish resterant it was excellent and simple with great service. I'm willing to go back again.
Steak ordered was terrible. Tried get a refund, but was only allowed 75% of the purchase price and reduced by the discount for the sides. Ridiculous!!

I had lunch with my parents here today. We have been coming here for years. The restaurant is clean, orderly, and well decorated. The service is very good. I had the 6 fried shrimp with coleslaw and added fried okra instead of the standard fries. The shrimp itself has a very crispy, tempura-like crust on it. Very fresh as well. Keep in mind that some of the dishes at Sam's Seafood and Steak do have an Asian-American fusion flair to them. The coleslaw was solid. The fried okra had the lightest crisp on them. Tasty. Definitely a solid choice every time we come.
