San San Tofu in Houston

Since my cooking of vegetarian food is limited, I'm glad I was able to find this place to help me survive eating vegetarian during the Lunar New Year. The place is intwined with a vegetarian grocery store, and its really clean inside. My husband and I kept it simple for lunch and got a rice plate. There were a lot of variety, so I am excited to come back and try out some other dishes. Honestly, I couldn't really tell you what anything really was other than some tofu and veggies. I just pointed to the entrees I thought looked good. The ladies there are super helpful and know basic English in order to help! My sister and I came here to get take out. We opted for the bbq buns and the veggie buns. We also got the tofu spring rolls. Everything was good, but my favorite was definitely the tofu spring rolls. We also picked up a few grocery items like the instant Vietnamese coffee, some noodles, and dried bananas. This is an interesting place for grabbing a quick bite or for ordering take out. I will be back next time in the area.

Worst experience ever.!! We are a regular customer of this San San tofu restaurant, today we went in to eat and was confronted by one of the lady there about ice tea. I have a habit of drinking a lot of tea and we usually get 4 glasses every time.. but this time the lady at the counter came to our table and stated that we cannot get 4 glasses of teas.. She also did not say it in a nice voice but was very harshed at me that if I want more tea I would have to come get refills when I was trying to tell her this is how we usually get and we are a regular customer of this restaurant. I asked for the supervisor or manager there but they would not give me the name and after a while they finally told me the owner’s name is Kimberly and that she is not in. They did not seem to help and be courteous but was very rude and very bad customer service. We will not come back to this restaurant anymore and certainly will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
