I love this place. Such a good vibe with the windows and warm lighting.Their menu has a lot of modern twists on traditional favorites. Excellent selection of drinks too. Everything tastes so incredibly fresh and is presented very nicely. I feel like I can take anyone here and be confident that they'll have a good time.My only suggestion is that they consider adding more lighting in the dining area. It's a little dark and dank in the winter, since there obviously isn't much daylight coming through the big windows. Maybe some string lights?

Good drinks and good service. The tacos are decent but the thing i come here for that I can not get anywhere else is the southwestern chicken egg rolls! They are my favorite thing on the menu!

My favorite Anchorage place for a carne asada burrito and refried beans! The carne asada burritos have so much steak it's ridiculous. I love that it's a local family business too. As I understand it, it's the same family behind Tequila 61 and Tudor Serrano's Mexican Grill (obvi), formerly Tequila Kitchen. The tall guy that works the register a lot is super helpful and friendly. The restaurant has thoughtful self-serve features: I drown my food in salsa and sour cream from the ubiquitous salsa bar, and self-serve to-go containers handy for leftovers from generous portions are in the back corner. There are some cool design elements in the front of the house that one of the family members is responsible for: my favorite is the artwork on the wall. Verdict: delicioso!
