Why not
I used to drive all the way to the Northern Lights location before the Tudor location opened. Within the last two years I’ve noticed the food has gotten very salty, a lot more fat in the meat showing up, and charging for guacamole. Don’t get me wrong, I get the charging for guacamole part but the rest… It’s unfortunate because we used to love Serrano’s and the Tudor location was close and convenient to where we live.

Serrano's Mexican Grill is not authentic and is really quite gross. I got the rice bowl with steak and I was really confused on if I was eating Mexican or bbq. My boyfriend (who grew up in Cali and is Mexican) told me not to go here, and I should have listened. The sauce on the bowl was like a spicy bbq, and the beans left me wondering if they were more Smokey baked vs basic Mexican recipe. The rice was fluffy. Staff were friendly and service was fast. The restaurant was very clean. It didn't meet my expectation for Mexican, but I will say that this is my friend's favorite place and she really enjoys this joint. However this is low on my list. It gets 2 stars for not being great Mexican food. I probably won't go back.
