Their online ordering sucks. I ordered a cake for my birthday from here and the first time I tried the order seemingly didn't go through. Been spending more time in Ballard since taking our pup to puppy school, so I've been trying to expand my food horizons. Was looking up pastries on Yelp and came across this gem. Located in phinney, it's inside of modern Japanese cuisine. They have a small refrigerated pastry case up front upon walking in filled with cheesecakes, mousse, tiramisu, and roll cake. I got a few Japanese cheesecake slices, matcha cheesecake, tiramisu, matcha tiramisu, and a couple of strawberry roll cake slices. Everything was delicious, creamy, light, and not overly sweet. Took a couple of items to my parents and they loved it and didn't want to share. If you're looking for desserts that aren't as rich as traditional desserts, definitely check this place out.

Love everything about Setsuko Pastry.  So much matcha to be had in wonderful baked goods.  I loved the tiramisu, eaten on the back patio, shrouded by bamboo planters.  This quaint establishment makes me very happy.
