This restaurant is one of the older ones in the area but food is great. We ordered the salt and pepper lobster, chinese broccoli which were both great and house special noodles which was a little bit on the salty side. Overall, we had a very nice lunch

Food is great!! Particularly enjoyed the hunan beef and bbq pork fried rice. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly.

I've been dining here for almost 2 decades when their location was closer to Fiesta on Bellaire. I know the husband/wife owners as he is the chef while she manages the register. I remember seeing the chef on his wife beater shirt chatting with patrons while the wife never had a good attitude serving customers. There're a few other Cantonese restaurants throughout the years and I haven't been back since 2018 until yesterday. We were deciding where to have lunch and my husband pointed at Shanghai restaurant thinking they serve xialongbao. Well, their restaurant's name is mis-leading as it's a Cantonese restaurant and almost everyone speaks Cantonese. It has been a long time and I thought why not?
