I believed they switch ownership. It was a traditional Chinese restaurant that serves dim sum in the afternoon and traditional canton Chinese dishes for dinner. The parking was very small, so get here early.

I came here this past Sunday for Dim Sum with a big foodie group of 33 adults. The reviews range so widely, so I wasn't sure what to expect. In fact, my Mom's elderly friends say the food is not good and extremely expensive. I found the food to be good for the most part, but like all restaurants, there are good and bad dishes. The prices are high, but they advertise a daily 30% off deal, which I forgot to verify on the bill since it was so long (our table ordered 40+ dishes). The Good for Non-Food: Decor Plush red chairs Big and clean single stall bathroom by the private rooms on the right Powerful a/c (we had to request it be turned down) The Bad for Non-Food: Unclear parking signs (after squinting at a few stalls and thinking we parked in the wrong place, I finally made out a faint "Blue Ocean" - the previous restaurant that burned down years ago; come on, repainting the restaurant name in a few parking stalls is not that hard or expensive) The Good for Food: Rice Noodle Rolls - Beef and Shrimp/Asparagus Egg Tart (Macao style) Siu Mai Egg Yolk Custard Bun - surprisingly awesome! Pineapple Bun filled with Egg Yolk Custard Cha Siu Steamed Bun Roasted Pork Belly The Bad for Food: Shrimp & Chive Pan-fried Dumpling - watery inside Stir-Fried Daikon with Bean Sprouts and Green...

We went here yesterday night. Jonathan Gd wrote about the restaurant in his latest critic, with the words "shi hai is best at its simplest". So we ordered the cheapest prefixed menu and we were overwhelmed. A whole fresh perfect lobster, a nice light soup, vegetables, a tender and beautiful seasoned half chicken and fish, that was very tender, plus tea and desert! Everything for $60! And everything tastes fresh, different and amazing. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. I think most of the people who are upset with the people who work here, shouldn't go to Alhambra, as they can not handle different cultures.
