Si Hai Restaurant in Arcadia

Taiwanese breakfast anyone? I came to Sihai to pick up some breakfast food. I arrived at 8am and waited in line for about 10 minutes. My order took about 30-35 minutes. We got the pickled veggie rice roll, hot soy milk, and a green onion pancake with egg. The total came out to be about $15. The rice roll was pretty delicious and standard. The pickled veggies rice roll comes with pork sung and a youtiao- the crueller wasn't very crispy though. The soy milk tasted fresh, hot, and sweet (my favorite of the order). The green onion pancake with egg was thick and had a good qq texture on the inside and crispy on the outside- but was slightly too greasy for the morning for me. This is one of those places you should only go for their food and expect little to no service. Food here is okay, but staffs are constantly overwhelmed by the number of orders so they can be impatient and rude. We tend to end up going somewhere else for Taiwanese/Chinese breakfast due to the long wait here and unpleasant customer service.To the management at this place, stop being cheap on labor and hire more staff. This location is constantly understaffed and eventually people will turn to other places. No one likes to wait and be treated poorly. Both staffs and customers can benefit from a change in staffing arrangement.

06/30/2019 You may think I'm contradicting or you may contradict me but this place is called Si Hai Restaurant. That is for most or all if you who cannot read the signs in Chinese. In English, it shows Si Hai Restaurant and should be directed to the correct page. yelp.com/biz/si-hai-rest… Otherwise, you can still come in and order the marinated peanuts and fresh soy milk that is freshly ground and freshly brewed here. I also like the bamboo leaves sticky rice. Order enough to share at the counter and they will bring your order to your table when it is ready. Is that called fast casual service?
