Let me start out saying that I moved from Chicago where they have outstanding Indian restaurants. Moved down here to Knoxville where finding authentic restaurants is difficult. Tried several in the last 10 months since we got here, and they were ok. Came across Sitar Indian Cuisine and we decided to go there for dinner. It was awesome, the food is authentic. Tried five different meals and everyone was as good as the other. Staff was professional and quick, even though the place was mobbed. My wife can’t stop talking about it. It’s definitely in are permanent restaurant rotation.
