I really had high hopes for this bakery. I saw all of the amazing reviews and the great pictures so I gave this bakery a visit. There wasn't a lot of variety when I went in, just a lot of the same thing. All of the breads I bought were very dry and flavorless, and the puff pastries were so dry and crumbly that I couldn't even eat them. The large macarons were also awful; they were dry and hard and super crumbly. Even the tiramisu was horrible- all I could taste was shaving cream. Maybe it was just the day I went or the items I bought but this bakery was a waste of time, money, and gas.

Great Asian Bakery! They have amazing cakes, always fresh variety of bread selections, and I especially like how they individually packaged everything. It is a small bakery but the shelves are always well stocked. The cakes are moist, not overwhelmingly sweet, and they have great flavor choices. There's always premade cakes ready to be purchased, but custom order ones only need 2-3 advance notice.

I haven't visited any of the Six Ping locations in years. I decided to stop by this Bellaire Store after eating lunch at Mala Bistro. The breads all looked good, but what shocked me was the female cashier's attitude. Is she the same person who used to work at San Dong Noodle House? She seriously needs some customer service training that focuses on "all races being equal". I noticed she was extremely rude to Asian customers. What's up with that? I don't understand how she could manage to keep the same attitude from working from one place to another?
