Chinese style pastries are always a win in my book. This bakery has all your wants and desires - even though I'm not a fan of durian, they have a lot of durian desserts. Everything is individually wrapped and easy to see and pick from. Very clean shop.

Any time I visit Houston, I make sure to visit Six Ping and get some bread. This time I walked in on a gold mine. The pandan coconut bread was out of this world. So tender and soft with a perfect balance in flavor. They also had a lot of toast options that looked amazing and I went with the taro toast. The bread is unbelievably soft and the swirls of taro were delicious. I would highly recommend buying any of their toast varieties!! And always always get some buoluo bread (sometimes referred to as pineapple bread). This has always been my favorite and the buoluo at six ping is some of the best I've had. Love this place, I will most definitely be back.

Love this bakery. Great cakes. My daughter absolutely loved her hellokitty cake. If you want pandan cake make sure you order ahead or call and ask if they have any ready for immediate pick up. Call 1-2 days before you need the cake.
