This place has so many Wonderful yet delicious options to choose from. The food gets 5 stars. The employees are so kind but I often see them angry and annoyed because of the way the manager speaks to them. The employees try to please the customers the best they can but the manager doesn't seem to care. When they got my order wrong I called when I got home and the manager told me I should've checked the bag before I left. He was completely rude and I won't be going back

A Groupon offer gave us a reason to try out this new restaurant in Hybla Valley.  We didn't want a gallon of tea so ordered a la carte. There were problems with the menu, the website, and the change in business hours (now 11-8).  Also, the order taker did not understand "skrimp," which is what is listed on the menu.  We were not asked how we wanted our fish cooked, although there are several choices.  The fried okra and hushpuppies were good, so maybe we'll be back.  Hopefully the website and menu will be more accessible next time.

Skrimp Shack was at the VA Wine Festival this weekend with their food truck and we ordered fried  shrimp and Mac and cheese platter.  We waited 25 min to order and then 25 min for our food.  They won't cook food in big batches (only to order) even at a large festival so when 25 people are in line they haven't figured out a better way to expedite orders.  They served us like 6 lukewarm shrimp that were not crispy but had mediocre seasoning and a tiny side of the worst boxed-tasting liquid Mac and cheese I've ever had.  It was unseasoned and tasted like it was made with milk and a little cheese.  I haven't been to their brick and mortar stores but steer clear of their food truck.  I could have gotten better at Popeyes and way faster service.
