My boyfriend and I went here after hearing about it from friends. We were sat right by the fireplace which made it even more special. I had the crab stuffed salmon and my boyfriend had the filet mignon. My favorite part of the dish was the crab and I would try a steak when we visit again. The French onion soup looked really good and I will definitely need to try that. They made a good and strong vodka tonic and their Malbec was very tasty. We look forward to returning.

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I have never publically said a negative word about a restaurant prior to this.   I have had dinner at Smith's a couple times, and always had a pleasant experience.  However, on my last visit, my partner was not feeling well and asked for her food to be wrapped up.  I watched the bartender, Lorene if I'm not mistaken, cut her finger on our metal to-go container.  She proceeded to bleed into our food, box it up, and then serve a few more beers before getting a bandaid.  At one point I was thinking "no, she can't be doing that", and then she put down a service bar ticket covered in bloody fingerprints.   We obviously just threw the food out.  I should have said something, but it was just such a blantant and agregious violation of health code... What do you say?  "Hey, I know that you know you bled into our food and I don't really want to injest a blood born pathegin today, can we get a fresh one on the fly?" For shame Smith's.  Do better.
