I’m a Tennessean. This was definitely good for BBQ as Alaska goes. Definitely not what I’m used to, but pretty decent nonetheless. I gotta say the potato salad was pretty smackin’.

Ok, so BBQ is not my 1st choice to eat. I'll go to a place that has fries, and that's why we went to Smokehouse BBQ (Dimond location) last night. Also i always trust when Andrew H gives somewhere a good review, as he has high standards, so another reason to try Smokehouse. I really hope to be able to improve my somewhat lukewarm 3 star review. And it's for a couple of reason that it's only 3 stars. We ordered from the drive-thru, and service was good and quick - 5 stars for that. I ordered brisket sandwich with a side of fries, he ordered just brisket, with 2 sides. So i was kind of daunted when i opened my food, to see this humongous sandwich. Normally I'm happy to see a lot of food, and will usually save half for later, for Netflix and Chilling purposes. However, it was a super wet sandwich, very saucy, and the bread was really soggy. It was too big to really get hold of, but i did manage to get it halved. There was no knives and forks or nap...
