The food ranged from good to great, but our server was such a sourpuss that it spoiled the night. Looking forward to going again and getting someone different.

We had a recent opportunity to enjoy dinner at the Smoky Park Supper Club. It was the first time it had been opened for inside dining in a very long time. My wife went with the smoked brisket with Alabama white sauce and marinated Vidalia onions. As a side, she had wood-grilled squash with avocado chimichurri, baby tomato relish and dill. There were no opening night hiccups in the kitchen, they were at the top of their game; everything was excellent. The previous week, when my wife got the notice that the dining room would be reopening, she responded to management how pleased we were to hear that, saying that two years ago we celebrated our 39th anniversary there. And that w...
