I stopped in and the light was glaring on the menu. I couldn't see the selections. So I asked the staff to tell me what was good for slimming down. He just pointed to the menu. I said but I can't read it. He wasn't helpful and just stated one or two unintelligible words. So I leaned in and tried to interpret the fuzzy menu. The headings were at least clear for an Island Impact. I asked which ones contain collagen or animal protein. I wanted neither. He just said you have to ask to add those. So I ordered an island impact. While they were making it I noticed another menu that was more clear that showed it had gladiator protein. I asked both staff persons what is gladiator. Answer : contains whey. I asked what is whey. Then the second staff person finally said you have to read the menu ma'am. I said but it's hard to read and I believe you ought to be able to tell me what ingredients I am getting. Reluctantly after a staredown he said it contains milk...

Worst experience I've ever had at a Smoothie King. This franchise decides to not participate in nationwide coupon specials. If you have a reward or coupon you shouldn't bring it to this location. I would suggest going to the Westheimer location l.
