So, I'm chilling in my apartment on a lazy Sunday evening and I had this soul food craving but I really wasn't in the mood to cook. Hopped on DoorDash and scrolled for a bit until I found Solid Rock Cafe. I wasn't sure what to order because I had never been, so I did what we all do and hopped on Yelp. Gazed at a few photos and placed my order. Three meats, and three sides got the job done. I'm not sure what type of fish they serve but it was for sure on point with a side of their special sauce. If you go by portion size the to go options may surprise you, other than that I have no complaints. Definitely recommend trying this spot if you haven't already.

This was good, but could have been great. I ordered ribs and fried chicken with rice and collard greens to go. Once home, I realized that they forgot to poke holes in my container. I witnessed them doing this to other orders but I didn't think about doing this to my box. The fried chicken was essentially steamed on the way home. Fortunately, texture aside, the flavor was amazing. I could only imagine how much better it would have been with a crispy crust. The ribs were delicious and didn't suffer as much from being steamed. I enjoyed the collard greens, I only wish there was a piece of pork with greens....

I ordered hot wings and the flavor wasn't hot and the wings were soggy. Peach cobbler wasn't good
