The restaurant is very small hole in the wall mom and pop place from my 2 Times here but both times in a span of 15 months it's been amazing. I read these people are from the Hue region of Vietnam so I was expecting bun bo hue soup to be authentic and was hoping it would be good as the first time.I've probably tried about 20 places in DFW for a soup called Bun Bo Hue. It's a dish that Anthony Bourdain has discussed affectionately and it's more exotic and spicier than Pho with a totally different flavor profile. I wish I could take all the stars out. This is the worst customer service I have experienced my entire life. She was so rude that we just wanted to leave immediately. I'm so glad that we did leave and found another good Viet restaurant.

Just ordered:Spicy Bun Bo Hue SoupCom Tam Broken Rice and Grilled Pork Chop and Fried EggThe soup was perfect. Simply perfect. The broth was very clear and spicy. It was the perfect combination of fatty and spicy. The rice, pork and fried egg dish was simple. Very simple in fact, and you know what they say about simplicity. Simplicity is next to perfection. The restaurant appears to be family run, complete with an adorable little boy taking breaks from playing to have a piping hot bowl of soup. It is a hole in the wall, so if you're looking shiny chic decor this isn't it. It's about the food and family friendly environment. Before I wrap this review up allow me to mention the portion size. Very generous.Song Huong Restaurant has a new regular.
