Sonic Drive-In I usually go to this sonic. I have never had issue with my order wrong and when I get my shakes I like them a lot here. It’s also great that it’s close to my home. But today I was so disappointed in the service. My whole order was 2 of the .99¢ ice cream sundae (which my husband and I were so happy to get) and we ordered a #1 with jalapeños tater tots and a mes coke. My husband ordered me a 12 piece buffalo boneless wings tater tots and a med coke. We got the order didn’t really pay attention to the screen because my husband and I never had to worry about getting an order wrong. We got home and I got a 6 piece instead of the 12. I called and the lady who answered (who I forgot to get the name) asked what my ticket number was. I noticed I wasn’t even given a ticket. Usually it’s stickered on the bag or drink(s). I said I have no ticket. I guess she tried to put me on hold and was speaking to everyone. I heard the lady who took my order thought we said 6 so put in 6. Someone else in the background very clearly said “does the person want free food or what”. No I don’t want free food. I want what We said in the order. The only solution was “we can ring it up for 6 piece and you can come and pay”. I’m not trying to get free food as the person said. I just want what I ordered and what I wanted. I get that people lie to try to get free food but my husband said it loud and clear, 12.
