Sonic Drive-In in Amarillo

Service is usually really good, drinks are good, however I wish they would not add flavor to drinks first or stir them up, taking that first big drink and it is all flavoring is not good. Food is good most of the time, would be nice if corporate could come up with a better container to put chili dogs in, hate pulling it out of package and 1/2 of toppings are stuck to it

Service here is not consistent. Probably 50% of the time something is wrong with my order. Third time editing this post with an error on the same menu item. Today, I got the kid's portion instead of the one I ordered.Their response below said "thanks for letting us know." But they haven't fixed anything, so that's ringing a little hollow. Can I just have my money back for all 3 of the orders?.....Happened to stop by, forgetting my previous experiences. Nothing has changed, at least with the morning crew....

Okay folks. I do not like to rate a place until I have had a chance to get a pretty good idea of what it is truly like. I have visited the Sonic Drive-in at Western and Hillside on multiple occasions. Twice now I have been in line in the drive-thru for the morning drink special, large sodas for $0.99 until 10.00 a.m., only to be charged the full price for my drinks. Now to be honest, I was in the line before 10:00 a.m., but by the time I got to the window, it was after 10 o'clock. I have always figured that if you were present before the deadline, you would receive the "special" pricing. Evidently not at this particular Sonic. All of the other Sonic Drive-in's I have had the pleasure to visit seem to have had a kind of grace period for their drink special times, giving customers in line and waiting the benefit of the special pricing, even during the happy hour. Not at this location!! If your items are not rung up by the end of their special pricing times, you will be charged full price! Even if it was...
