Fantastic! Best Gumbo anywhere

Had dinner this evening for the first time at Soul. Tall gentleman, who I believe was the chef quickly seated us. Our server was the best ever!!…she explained menu items, was very friendly and gracious. The food was very delicious and the price for value was great! The Hot Chicken appetizer was tender and perfectly seasoned. Everyone loved the fried tomatoes and hush puppies. We really enjoyed our entrees of gumbo, mac n cheese bar, and shrimp with grits. We ordered beignets for dessert which were toasty and the perfect way to end the meal! We will definitely return to this understated gem in Annapolis!

I’m fairly certain I’ve tried nearly everything on their menu - at least twice! My favorite is, by far their gumbo. It has a kick to it, but even my four year old loves it. If you have the time and the weather is nice, stop by for dinner and request patio seating. You won’t be disappointed.
