Great service and food. I love their little takeout market next door as well. Nice little outdoor dining space. Bloody Mary, chicken and waffles, omelette with a side salad pictured. Happy to have some good dining options south of the James/hugeonot.

Had not been back to Southbound since before the pandemic and can heartily recommend it based on the food we had 9/10/21. The fried oysters and autumnal squash/broccolini salad were delightful and the main courses were superb: porchetta (with pea puree and side of stuffing) and half jerk chicken with pineapple. No room for dessert (though we did stop at Gelati Celeste across the courtyard) but the Rostov's coffee was sublime.
